sorry i didn't say brian on it but it was based on recent previous post between jacon brian and teri. i wasn't talking to you . if you read the previous posts between jacob and brian you could figure that out. maybe you should just stay in the bathroom. amat number tuesday after the close. d-day. i predict 33-35 centeps on 900 million in sales. i say management will guide numbers down dramatically for the next two quarters and will be very cautious about asia. i say you will have three to four downgrades. why? if you read some of the reports with buys they stated that this could be the last of the downward revision in eps. i simply do not see this at all. regarding the stock-thats a tough question because i think or believe people do not expect great things but if the market believes amat will say this is the bottom then the stock is in trouble. also, i don't see any reason for the stock to go higher since eps will be downward revised and book to bill will be under 1. i think the best case is the stock could drift between 28-38 after the quarter like last time. their is no doubt in my mind the risks is on the downside. this business changes very quickly and if amat was to upbeat or the street believes they were mislead then it will get punished. intel ,klic, cymi, mu are the best example of that.
