Greg, You are not getting the picture. Certain groups have been working towards the goal of controlling the governments and financial centers of the world. They are the super rich elitists who have formed into organizations like the Club of Rome, the Bilderbergers, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) run by the Rockefellers (the "American" part of the plan), and the Tri-Lateral Commission formed after the CFR to include the lately blooming Asian countries in their plans. Many of these people are consumed by the New Age religion and believe they are descended from god's and should run the world. In Revelation 13:7 it says "And it was given to him (the beast) to make war with the saints and overcome them: and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him." This is not going to happen overnight but is happening now as satan builds his world empire. He is working through his new age religion to recruit all who will follow from the super rich elitists I mentioned right down to Christine and people like her who want to see a utopian environment on earth. Through the CFR and other organizations they have placed people in key roles in government and have gained control. They started the UN to be their tool. The US constitution is a big hindrance to their plans and they want to dismantle the US as well as all other countries to be under one UN umbrella which they already control. Their goal is to centralize power into one organization which they will be able to control all through. And ultimately satan controls all. The "mark of the beast" will be an integral part of that plan to bring all mankind under financial control in a worldwide system. No one can buy or sell without the mark of the beast (Rev. 13:11-18). Whoever takes the mark is eternally damned and the saints won't. They become "enemies of the state". The beast wages war against them. If you will look at the big picture the process of the mark of the beast is actually the separating of the wheat from the chaff at harvest time that God promised He would do. After the process is complete there is no reason for us to be on earth any longer and we are taken up to be with the Lord and God's wrath is then poured out on all mankind left on earth. The politics of our time point to the fulfillment of the book of Revelation. But you won't figure that out watching the evening news. It's controlled by the same folks. This group has been gaining control of the media since the turn of the century when some of the "rich men" wanted to control public opinion and bought all the major newspapers. Since then it's been radio and then television. I can see why so many look at the US as the great satan, but they don't have the whole picture. It's not the US gov. that controls the UN, it's the CFR that controls the UN and the US government. They have both parties in their pocket. Their is really no reason for any christian to vote any longer. They are just dangling carrots to make us go where they want, playing us for fools. Bob
