Exerts from latest Mariposa publication:
"The Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver framed by the Coast Range
Mountains and the sparkling, today, Pacific Ocean. In response to my enquiry the lady at the information booth points to a row of doors marked ballroom A. Perhaps they are all dancing to the Music of the Spheres. I go over and rattle a couple of doors, no luck, maybe the security is high. I try the third a little more robustly and end up bursting into the ballroom where they are actually listening intently to one of their collegues delivering a lecture. Heads turn, silence falls, undeterred I smile and wave and make my way to the back of the room where I now see the main entrance and out I go.
At the registration desk I ask about Dr. Hora and Dr. Miley, they
are well known and one of the girls offers to introduce me at the break. I spent more time with Dr. Hora than Dr. Miley and will describe him in a later article on diamond diffusion and the flywheel battery. Dr. Miley looks a lot different than the picture in the New Scientist somewhat less imposing. He really is pressed for time as we are introduced and we talked as he made his way upstairs for lunch with some of his collegues. I was not
able to get the information that I wanted, but he did ask me back in the afternoon which I thought was nice of him, although as you know I wanted to visit the Napier facility.
He did say that the crux of the research on the IEC (inertial
electrostatic confinement) neutron generator is to increase the power output which will speed up neutron activation analysis and lead to wider applications of the device. He also made some reference to his sphere being transformed into something more resembling a tank. That's the practical engineers clashing with the scientist's art for you.

PART TWO RHOMBIC writer owns 3700 sh ask .42 bid 37 when first mentioned ask .53 bid .47. The Inertial Electrostatic Confinement Neutron Generator(IECNG). The idea for this type of fusion device is over forty years old and was developed by Philo Farnsworth. His approach was to use strong electric fields to accelerate charged particles(ions) toward each other in beams focused at the centre of a sphere. Some of these fuse and throw off neutrons. Robert Hirsch took up the concept and refined it using deuterium (a proton plus a neutron and an electron), a naturally occuring form of hydrogen(a proton and an electron). Dr.Hirsch used a high potential electric field set up between a spherical grid at the centre of a larger sphere and the wall of the large sphere. This field is strong enough that the deuterium is stripped of it's electrons and the resulting ions are then accelerated toward the centre's negatively charged grid, some pass through the grid and,
as they are coming from all directions to the centre, collide producing neutrons that stream out in all directions.
Dr. Hirsch left the device to the University of Illinois where Dr. Miley took up the work of refining it and making it more powerful. In particular a new grid was designed that alligns the beams more efficiently thus increasing the performance, also the device concentrates a plasma of ions at the centre making it more efficient. The IECNG produces clean neutrons, incidental x-ray and gamma ray radiation is below normally measurable levels. The device is portable and can be switched on and off unlike the presently used Californium, a radioactive heavy metal that has
the potential to be released into the enviornment if mishandled or subjected to fire. Californium needs to be replaced every two years or so and among other marketing techniques Mr. John Sved, is trying to get users to try the IECNG when the Californium needs replacing.
There is a liability aspect to posessing any radioactive isotope
which I believe is not the case with the IECNG. As I mentioned in my last post the IECNG is being introduced at a neutron activation analysis coference in Germany next week this will mark the begining of sales.
What is this device good for? University experiments in fusion and neutron activation analysis, dental and medical x-rays, mineral quality analysis, highly accurate alloy analysis as the alloy is being produced, the detection of non-metallic land mines and the detection of explosives at high security areas such as airports to name a few.
Also as mentioned in the last post Rhombic will have royalties from all world wide sales of the units and has the marketing rights in the US through a wholly owned subsidiary, Rockford Technology Associates.
The financing is still proceeding and I expect that the share price will stabilize if and when it is completed. Remember my warning on the OTC BB market, volume could dry up, the spread could increase astonomically, stocks are subject to unbridled shorting and other manipulations, that the company has no control over. In this case I think that over time the possible rewards
are greater than the risks, if not I would not have brought it up in the first place."
