Wise words, Pete: I expect you share my viewpoint that it's in everyone's best interest to learn as much as we can from Brinker while his advice is still available to us, rather than badger him about the timing of this or that stock pick to prove him right or wrong - a pure ego trip. Funny, I'm about even on UTEK. Quicken says I'm up 13% for the yr on it. I'm starting to really like the company as a very long term investment. I've started selecting the best of the SI posts and UTEK news and storing them here suite101.com Wouldn't surprise me at all if I bought more if it dips big time again. I won't bore you why, but some of the moves lately show the management is very good and is in for the very long term. I think Brinker picked the Co for a quick kill ($30 to $40 within 18 months) before the meltdown, but he knew the management was very sound and would be a good backup for a longterm play in case the short term didn't workout. To me, that is the best way to pick stocks as the backup plan is still there. If anyone's noticed, I just ignore the whiney posts and let Justa deal with it for me. 8) happy trading Kirk out
