SLICK CONTINUES HIS STONEWALLING Last week, Mr. Clinton was asked if he would volunteer his testimony. He said, "I don't have anything to say on that. My lawyer David Kendall speaks for me on that. I just don't have anything else to say." Linda Tripp recorded hours of conversations with Monica Lewinsky about her alleged affair with Mr. Clinton. Investigators have spent months checking out Tripp's story and now claim she is "completely reliable." As for Lewinsky herself, Starr's office is preparing to offer what one source calls "a last clear chance" to tell her story. Sources say she was prepared to tell investigators about an intimate relationship with the president, but she has not offered details on whether she was encouraged to lie about it under oath. cbs.com DD
