I wish to clarify something here: I was not spreading "inside information" on Nortran and its' deal with Hoffman LaRoche. I was simply passing along unsubstantiated rumors that I was hearing from various sources. I often hear these rumors, on Nortran and other companies, because I talk to many different people (analysts, stock brokers, company executives, etc.). I do what I can to check out the rumors, and if they seem at all credible, I bring them to SI as an attempt to corroborate them. I am not trying to "hype" anything, and I do not trade on the information (it has been over six months since I bought or sold NRT shares).

As to the CIBC Wood Gundy rumor, that was simply an "educated guess". based upon information that I was getting from various sources. Looking at the dealers involved in the recent financing, I would now be inclined to believe that one of the three will be the actual T.S.E. sponsor, and not CIBC Wood Gundy.

As to today's market activity, I would be extremely surprised if it were not for the fact that NRT trades on the V.S.E. - the sooner it gets off that horrible exchange the better. That said, I strongly believe that in the next few weeks, we will see a steady climb in the price of NRT, helped along by recommendations from the three dealers on the financing: Canaccord, Goepel McDermid, and Gordon Capital. Just my opinion. Also, I think that NRT will have to move onto the T.S.E., and then NASDAQ, before we see the possibility of a double-digit share price.
