Thanks Gary, >>>next move may be triggered by the possible or likely May 21 interest hike.<<<<

I'd say this is an extreme remote possibility, AG would be telegraphing the move to edge the market down at a slower pace. If he came out with a surprise rate hike the market would sell off 500 or more points the next day and could start a panic. He telegraphed last springs hike well in advance.

If my theory is right gold will do well, because we are in the transition from paper assets to hard assets, thats why you can turn the gold chart upside down and plot the DOW (if my theory is right)

Not only is there a panic buying in stocks these days and no fear in the market place (people are more afraid to sell, than to buy), but there is a panic buying in mergers. Banks, brokerages, telecoms, aerospace, autos are all rushing to eat up the competition before the next guy gets to him.

This is a very proud market that has beat its chest before the bear and proclaimed the bear absolutely vanished from the face of the planet.

Here is some more wisdom from "The Book"

"Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before the fall"

The bulls brag about the citigroup merger "bringing the most financial services under one roof since the great depression"

If they would just re-read that statement a few times and ponder ????
