The problem I have talking about this kind of issues - bandwidth, speed, access, future etc - is not technical, it's more a moral issue for me,because I know darn well that Im probably in the upper 5+% of the world population, meaning there's 95% out there that have worse or actually much worse.
So what's the issue?
If teledesic is the answer, it should be the answer to things like
1. hunger
2. illiteracy
3. drinking water
4. mallaria
5. ... keep adding yourself
etc. I assume it is an excellent, but indirect answer, in the sense that it empowers the 5% - or make it 25% of the population - to make it better for themselves in undirectly for the other 75%.
But, dont quote me for opening the Pandora's box.
