Sonny,
Have been off here for sometime. But saying hello to all , wishing everyone well, and happy to see INTC stay over 80. We sold the warrants at a steenth under 73 at the end of Feb., but held onto the stock, altho I didn't feel we had a good chance for much appreciation thru the summer months. Have owned dear old INTC since earnings day, Jan., 1996, can't sell it. Amat, Bay, & Nxtl have all been in tight range, but UIS has been grand since we've owned from August '97. Just read where Dell has named UIS major service provider, speculation -proabably worthless- about future buy-in by Michael. UIS closed over 24 yesterday- YESSS! Hope you still have some. Bought Diamond Offshore (DO) @ 47 with the Intcw cash, hoping for long-term gain, possible target company down the line. Didn't buy PFE, put money into UIS, it was a hard {GG} decision. Am thinking about Msft, Imcl after a pullback. OTOT--- BTW, 24 yr. old son still riding high with EMC (bought it @ 38 pre-split), T, NCR, even up about 15 pts on INTC. I can learn from these guys. Younger son going to graduate next week, accepted position with company in Austin, TX-Trilogy Corp., along with over 20 other Penn, engineering grads. Our baby (6'4") is gonna be a cowboy in the Silicon Valley of the Southwest. Just as long as he doesn't root for the Cowboys <gg>.
Regards to all, Go Intc, get over 85, and Mr. Clinton--get the govt. out of the future of this country- the TECH industry.
Regards, Royco |
