Good observation. My guess is that a good percentage of the larger companies have the sort of in-house computer staff you allude to. On the other hand, small and medium companies probably do not. And governmental divisions? Some do, some don't. In any case it sounds to me (from all the cries of "Wolf" out there) that there should be
plenty of work to go around for any company that can actually help.
