service company partnership. In making the announcement, Joseph J. Barber, Jr., President of Cine
Magnetics, and Ralph LaBarge, President of NB Digital Solutions, stated that the emergence of
DVD as a commmercially viable industry standard has created the need for a service company that
can provide complete DVD project management. The partnership combines NB Digital's expertise
in authoring, compression and simulation/testing with Cine Magnetics leadership in mastering,
replication, packaging and distribution.
The authoring and compression for DVD projects will be completely coordinated. Full simulation
and testing prior to mastering will be handled by either the Maryland or New York Facility. When a
client is completely satisfied with all phases of program simulation and testing, the parnership will
begin coordinating the mastering and replication phase.
