Bob Dole and Viagra
Anyone get the impression from the Bob Dole comments, that while he tried Viagra in the trials, it didn't work for him??
I read the Larry Kiing interview. Bob never says it worked for him, only that its a "great drug". His wife said exactly the same thing, seemed scripted to me. She never said it worked for Bob.
DOLE: I think it's an effective drug and I think we need to, you
know, learn more about it depending on what your problem may
be. Sometimes if it's -- you have what they call a prostatectomy
where it's removed surgically, it may not be as effective, but there
are many men out there, millions of men, who suffer from
impotence, and this may be the first step
Bob had this prostatectomy, he seems to be indicating that while not as effective for him, its a great drug.
Imagine the media response/headlines, if Viagra did not work for Dole, and he said so??
"Viagra fails to work for Senator Bob Dole"
Then, imagine the reaction in the PFE share price.
