Hi Knight, all stocks are good short candidates when a promo cycle ends. The reason VEC got into trouble in the first place is they caught out a bunch of shorters like yourself. The shorters went short big time at $5 and complained to the authorities when the stock was at $13 when they realized they could not cover. BTW, There is much more to this situation than your rather simplistic implications about insider funny stuff. Shorters are a funny bunch. When they lose the first thing they do is trash the company. When that doesn't work they make complaints to the authorities. Or look what the shorts have tried to do to KRY. Were you one of those VEC or KRY shorts who got squeezed by the short and curlies? I hope not. best wishes purething
