GRNO will definitely experience headwinds this time on the way up. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to it as much as I did the first time.

Off topic ... I just received by snail mail my free hard copy of the 1997 annual report of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. I told you about this before.

dallasfed.org

The graphics and captions of the hard copy are interesting. It shows a personal computer and says it costs the average non supervisory worker 27 minutes per MIPS to buy it. MIPS stands for Million Instructions per Second. It also shows computers from 1984, 1970, and 1944. The cost per MIPS in 1984 was 52 hours, in 1970 it was 1.24 lifetimes, and in 1944 it was 732,681 lifetimes.
