Not sure where your problem is, but I use it every day, with problems only when the book is down.

Forgive me if I state the obvious, but are you waiting for the little blinking cursor to appear in the upper left corner of what otherwise appears to be a blank screen? It sometimes can take a very long time for it to appear, but eventually it does. You then type in the symbol you want to see the orders for, and hit enter, and almost instantly, they all appear.

Going back to how you got there, if you go to isld.com, you will see, in the middle of the page, a link that says "Click Here for the amazing......" If you click on that link, you should get to the Island book, unless you haven't downloaded and installed the Java Activator. If you haven't you will be directed automatically to the appropriate site where you can download it. Once you've downloaded it, you should close down your browser(s), disconnect from the internet, and run the program you just downloaded. It will then install itself, and be available the next time you use your browser. You may have to re-boot your computer, I don't remember.

The next time you click on that "amazing" link, you should get the screen where the little blinking cursor I mentioned appears. Once it appears, bookmark THAT page, and you can avoid going through the ISLD page.

I hope this helps.

P.S. As an aside to anyone, while I prefer Netscape, and dislike IE, I DO find that the book works better using IE, for some reason. You can refresh the page much quicker in IE, whenever you wish to enter a new symbol. I keep IE up just for the Island book, and use Netscape for everything else.
