Thank you very much for your testimony. It certainly wasn't too long, for I still have questions. :-)
There's a specific point for you, when you said, "... [H]e made [H]imself real to me. I really cannot put it into words but it happened." This is one of the points that I find most interesting - the epiphany.
"The words glowed like burning coal, and I knew they were the truth." This reminds me of some lines from Bob Dylan's "Tangled Up In Blue" - "Then she opened up a book of poems, and handed it to me; written by an Italian poet from the 15th century. And every one of them words rang true, and glowed like burning coals. Pouring off of every page like it was written in my soul from me to you; tangled up in blue." If I remember correctly, Bob Dylan also had an epiphany and became, at least for a time, a born-again Christian.
