Penni, you are right about all sodas being too sweet if they are not Diet. Having grown up with Tab (do you remember those weird pinkish cans?) and Fresca, sodas sweetened with sugar are simply over the top for me.

However, when I am forced at gunpoint to drink Diet Coke instead of Pepsi, it tastes too sweet. The reason I like Diet Pepsi is exactly because it is NOT very sweet. It just goes to show how subjective our experience is, about everything.

Doesn't Europe have a much wider variety of toilets and bidets (how exotic!) than America does? I must say I have never, ever tried peeing standing up, having much more, um, pressing, problems!!!!!!!!
