Greg, I think the signs of the times are that it is happening now. There is too many parallels between Revelation and world events now for it to be a coincidence. It's the signs of the times. It's the devil that puts out the false teachings to throw as many as possible off the track. Many false prophets and false teachers have arisen as the Lord said. The events you are talking about was not a world system that was the embodiment of all of satan's plans to dominate all of mankind. That is what the whole book of Revelation is about. Satan's attempt to set up his kingdom and the Lord Jesus putting an end to that and setting up His Kingdom here on earth. Those past events were only the actions of mere men. If what you posted is true where is the Lord's earthly kingdom, where is Armageddon, the army of 200 million wiped out, blood up to the horses bridles and so on. It is a fact that it is technically possible now to have a beast like system and was not then. Dozens of companies are working on ID systems just like the one described in Rev. 13. The evidence to me is overwhelming. I have a friend who believes as you do. He just gets mad when I poke holes in his beliefs, I don't know how or why he clings to them. Bob
