TO: Jack Arnold,
On posting #4634 I indicated a number of questions that needed to be answered to have any remote possibility of restoring any level / degree of shareholder support! ( In my opinion!)
The only news in my view that we have seen officially released from CVIA recently is the announcement of the 300 to 1 share rollback,
and recently another poster on this thread drew to our attention another REG S!!!!!
From what I recall we were promissed? A news release by noon on Monday April 27, 1998!
Then we received a communique stating that the scheduled press release would be delayed by a day or so!
So! Giving the benefit of the doubt, and a gesture of fair play, even if we call it one week rather then a few extra days, that still means that we should have quite comfortably received the delayed press release by Monday May 4th., 1998!
Well as we all know by now! It is Saturday May 9th.,1998, and as far as I can tell, we have not been issued a news release--and it appears had it not been for a diligent CVIA Thread Poster we would still not have even been aware of another REG S !!!!!
I don't imagine I have to emphasize to you the current mood of the CVIA Followers on this thread!
From a personal standpoint, I have lost a considerable amount of money on my CVIA Investment! ( I realize that investing in CVIA was my own choice! It's my tough luck! I don't like it, but I understand it!-I knew it was high risk--And a Big gamble!)....
I thought we had two glimmers of hope! First! A person in the name of Jack Arnold that had the interest's of the CVIA Shareholders at heart, in trying to bring some meaningful value back to CVIA and it's shareholders!
Secondly! A hard working, dedicated and committed group of CVIA Thread participants and shareholders that would support your efforts to the best of their abilitites!
PROGRESS OF THE TWO GLIMMER'S OF HOPE?
Let's start with the CVIA Shareholders! In my opinion did everything imaginable to help/ support the cause!
Jack Arnold?----I know to many reading this comment they will most likely disagree with what I want to share in my opinion!
It has many scenario's which could make it look very bad! No news after promissed news releases! ( As stated above!)
---REG S ----Not advised by CVIA or WOTD Management but by a CVIA Thread participant! ( Doesn't paint a good picture!)
Still no clue as to if there will be compensation to the shareholders for the 300 to 1 stock bashing announcement! We are hoping , but what are the details?
Is the merger really complete? Are the initial acquisitions actually completed?
Like many I am disillusioned, ticked-off, upset, and have a growing dislike for the way this whole scenario is developing!
As you can tell from the recent postings on this thread many CVIA participants appear to be planning various approaches to determine/ establish their shareholder rights!
I can only guess, but if they move forward with the some of the activites they appear to be planning then I do not even want to speculate what will be left of the CVIA / WOTD Scenario after their efforts!
Personally , after all the time and money we have invested in various degrees trying to support the CVIA cause---the part that really takes the cake is the fact that it does not now appear that we will even be able to hear see/ read the final details of the efforts/ achievements which so many of us have been patiently waiting for so long!
I have no way of knowing if a detailed and informative news release on Monday would keep some hope alive ( not my place to judge that!)--
--From a personal perspective and expectation level---any news would have to contain a very clear, specific and understandable compensation package for the CVIA Shareholders---that would have a very clear , concise and understandable monetary value!
Is that possible? I imagine that question can only be answered by you Jack and the WOTD Representatives!
I certainly wouldn't be foolish enough to stick my neck out anymore and ask the thread to wait until Monday in anticipation of another news release!
However! I will say this! Timing is now the key and crucial factor to this scenario! ( In my opinion!)--So! The longer we go without news and understanding clearly what the compensation is in lieu of the 300 to 1 ( Assuming that it is still in the works--now further diluted with another REG S--IMO!)---the more chance of growing and increasing reactive measures from various shareholders! ( IMO!)...
In my opinion Jack the ball is now in your court! You are our only link to receiving any news/ details!
This will most likely be my last posting on this matter! In my view there is nothing more to say , that hasn't already been expressed or said!
If there is good news to share Jack? There is no time like the present!
To the thread particpants on this CVIA Thread, looking back on this experience, I have spent / invested an inordinant amount of time and money on this investment! Looks like good intentions, trust and loyalty are not always enough in this sometimes Dog Eat Dog World!
