There is potential here for a new product to fill the sneaker net vacuum. A cheap IR handheld utilizing slim RAM cards would be super reliable, scaleable and just Jetsonesque to sell into the dorm room crowd with the iMac. It's not nice to read my mind HerbVic. I imagined the pocket device would use something like the new Ioptics I-ROM <http://www2.ioptics.com/default2.htm>, powered by a single AAA battery. Unfortunately, it's read-only for the time being. Ram cards or Solid State Disks (SSDs) like Psion's <http://provantage.com/FP_11569.htm> are just a little too expensive right now. Ian Bruce New York, NY
