Michel, you are going with a combination of intellect and gut in sticking with mine, and you are right to do so, that is all we can do when investing in risky ventures whether it is stock, real estate, a new job or a personal relationship. We take our chances and hope for the best knowing we cannot win them all, in fact we face losing odds. That is the nature of life on this planet, although it is not axiomatic, you cannot gain without some risk in all areas of life. I take great relish in winning even of few of lifes gambles and in knowing that with every venture I have gained personal knowledge and wisdom. I do not plan to sit and wait to die without using the few opportunities available to me for adventure and excitement.
I cannot travel anymore due to my commitment to two exceptionally bright young children, but I can find my adventures where I can and MINE is an adventure. Heck, this is almost like a trip to Bolivia for me, I was there in 1972 a thoroughly loved it, I might even retire to a country like Bolivia. You know, when I was there peasants had jewelry and fake ruin artifacts (carved chicken bones) aplenty to sell to me. I do not think they mined too deeply for their metals, do you? I am not worried about pessimistic people ruining my parade, I am a reformed pessimist myself and understand them intimately.
Good luck to you and all of us holding mine, just do not bet the farm.
I am staying in-maybe I can revisit Bolivia with my profits.
