Just stumbled across this thread and agree with this characterization. So how do we decide? Whenever I come across an "opportunity" like this there are always a few questions I'd like to know. I'll be calling the investor relations contact tomorrow but perhaps others have already spoken to them and can provide their own insights.

1. Who are these folks? Names and backgrounds of the management involved in the company? What's their history?

2. Who owns the company? How many shares outstanding? Are there any SEC filings or other formal financial documents available for review?

3. Independent testing? Which independent testing labs have been given one of these engines to tear down and independently verify the claims? If this hasn't happened, what's the schedule for it to happen?

4. What's the story on patents? The web page doesn't give much in the way of details. Who is this mystery garage-shop inventor? One would think he or the company would wish to acknowledge his genius in some public manner, or that the press would be interested in him.

Not trying to sound overly skeptical, but these are the sort of questions anyone considering investing in a company that has already seen a nearly 10-fold appreciation in share price over the past five months should be asking.
