LGOV ... I knew about to but could not lock down the DD.

Your comment echoes mine. Which brings up a DD question. How does one really ever lock down the DD?

In my totally naive days, I used to believe the filings told it all. That nobody would dare lie to the SEC(ROFLMAO). In the four disastrous stocks I ever got sucked into(2 BBs, 1 NASDAQ, and 1 NYSE!), they all blatantly lied on the Qs and the K. The management of the two BB and NASDAQ stocks got away with it; the NYSE ones did get nailed(the infamous Centennial Technologies).

I guess my point is this. If a company has no problems orchestrating a scam on their SEC filings, then how difficult would it really be for them to provide supporting structure outside of the SEC filings to display an image of growth and prosperity? An image that could fool even the best DD.

I'm willing to confess that sometimes I just hold my nose and pull the BUY trigger cause the gut says so; and other times, I just move on using the same indicator.

I guess what I'm saying is that DD appears to be more of a tool to ELIMINATE a stock rather than to VALIDATE
