"Tommaso, why would you hold physical metal when the metal stocks are much more highly everaged? "

Why indeed? I don't hold any physical silver. I was asking questions to get some idea of who in fact was holding physical metal, since I had been surprised to see 100-ounce bars of silver advertised in the Sunday paper (locally, in a fairly small city).

I was also pointing out that snyone who wants the value of physical metal can get it by buying CEF.

In fact, my silver investment is mainly in PAASF. I still hold a small amount of CDE but fear environmental lawsuits in Idaho.

I was also partly trying to get the discussion back on track about the price of this metallic element, which is the basis of the value of the mining stocks.
