Perhaps one of you regulars can answer this for me; I've skimmed both this thread and the IASCA thread and can't find a reasonable answer.

Why is this invention [ the CTHA ] being handled by two different companies to penetrate two different markets? Was it part of the licensing deal with WV University, and they just wanted to do it that way, for some reason known only to them?

It would seem to make more sense to create one holding company, call it CTHA Holdings, Inc. or something, and operate the ITKG side [ military / paramilitary / police applications ] and the IASCA [ the rest of the commercial-application world ] as two opcos or divisions. Certainly there'd be some economies to be gained as some business functions could be consolidated to serve both divisions, while they each went after their respective markets. Tell me what I'm not seeing here. Thanks.
