In my opinion, Donald, "love good" is a better commandment than "love God"(why eliminate the "O"?).
The word God is too controversial. Whose God? Most people in the world have a different opinion about who God is, but surely there's a word for "good" in every language.
How can anyone of us presume to know what God is after? How do we not know that all writings(from all relgions) since the beginning of time were written by human beings. Only the passage of time has given them the aura of coming straight from God.
Our personal experience though, has taught us how we want to be treated by others. We know that kind, friendly, humorous people are wonderful company. They make us feel good. They are good. So, here's all the religion you need to be a fulfilled person--be happy, and pass that feeling along to everyone you meet.
