A BIT OF NOSTALGIA The lead article in Barrons is about Dupont.The first historical accomplishment mentioned in the first paragraph is about the Dupont invention of Teflon for frying pans. This is not correct it was invented by the founder of a French cookware company "TEFAL". In March 1962 I, as a junior 34 year old product specialist started the Dupont marketing effort to introduce "Teflon" coated cookware to American and later European housewives.I spent 10 years learning about marketing and rose to managing 3 Consumer Businesses before I changed careers.I have always totally immersed myself in intellectual challenges. I now have a new one " How to beat the odds in trading options?While I am twice as old as I was back in 1962 I now rely on wisdom and experience more than energy.
