I do not deny that this will not be a crowded market or that people like Forte will be a non-issue.

However, it is a lot better than sticking to C++ and Delphi shrink-wrap.

I see UNIFY has the services organization and I think Forte has one too.

The main thing about BORL is that they have good R&D. Can't lose brain-power though MSFT got a good chunk of some of BORL's minds. Hopefully some of those guys, disgusted by the MSFT Evil Empire (but likely a lot richer!), will jump back to BORL now that their pocketbook is satisified (it is all about job satisfaction after all!).

Combine the good R&D with a prof. services organization and v. good leadership and hopefully, instead of the BORL of old being like a chicken running around with its head cutoff, the new INPR will be a company with a narrowed focus and good customer relationships and a outstanding product line. BORL has always made technically capable products and one would hope that this can continue.

If all of this were assured the stock would be $30 today. Because there are risks involved it is not.
