Rocky, could you show me where Firewire is no longer being promoted by Intel. The following link leads you to the main Firewire promoters: pcwebopedia.com As far as I know Firewire is on track and being promoted by TI, Adaptec, Intel, etc. and should start showing up in Wintel computers by year end or perhaps early next year. I assume since Apple invented the damn thing it will also show up in the next revision of the G3 line, at least I'd hope so. Rich
