Ann, a very thoughtful post, we have already found much we can agree on. First evil or sin exist. I think we need to investigate the standard more, but some level of agreement none the less. Secondly your very profound ideas about human emotion. This relates to the idea of right and wrong. The fact that we all have an intrinsic sense of morality is interesting because while we all understand it none of us practices it consistently. This leads me to the idea of a G-d that sets the standards, or else we are all hypocrites because knowing the standards, we fail to follow them.

You raise the idea of proof of G-d which is a very large subject. I believe that the fact we are here at all presupposes a creator. It can also be logically understood as a self creating universe I suppose, I do not believe that but it can be argued. What is the most compelling evidence you know that all we see simply came to be all by itself?
