To those who still currently hold GVIL but were not shareholders as of late April 1998 - here are some highlights of info Global Village sent out via snail mail: - Special stockholders meeting is being held at the Sunnyvale Hilton in Sunnyvale, CA on June 8th. We/they will be voting on the sale of the modem business to Boca Research at this meeting. - They state they are still expecting to launch the initial family of OneWorld communications servers in June or July. The new products will reportedly be focused primarily on Novell and Windows NT network environments, with Windows users as well as some McIntosh. There are apparently already 13,000 older OneWorld servers being used in McIntosh networks. JEM
