Some news hits on XYZ and you bring it up on your screen. Looks like the momentum is picking up. You buy. Shortly thereafter the stock falls back and your sitting on a lose. Now what? blow it out? hold
on?

Do you know how it trades? do you know what MM's trade the stock?
how many shares outstanding?what's the float? are there any insiders/institutions trying to unload blocks?

Bottom line...buying on tips/news is a slippery rock at best.....been there done that
