Did anybody happen to read the May 11th edition of US News & World Report? Starting on page #46 is an article on the "fuel cell" engines being developed by the auto industry. It doesn't sound like cars will be using tanks filled with Hydrogen, but it does say that the technology is readily available. There are, however, three city buses already in operation in Chicago using fuel cells to generate power for their electric motors. They have large Hydrogen tanks on their roofs.

The most important things for us that I see in this article are that: 1)"Fuel cells have no wear-out mechanism", 2)Fuel cells that use pure Hydrogen for generating electricity create ZERO pollution, and 3)"The biggest problem has nothing to do with the fuel cells themselves. It's where to get the Hydrogen fuel."

Since pure Hydrogen is a by-product of the RNTK process (Nov. 5, 1997 RNTK announcement), seems like another inducement for TX or anyone else to license the process. Maintenance free, non-polluting electricity as a by-product.

GO RNTK!!! G.Scott
