Greetings Sam, <<< I have used many times to point out people like you who want to tell me who is God. And then lie about it being a man. >>>. I have only stated to you Sam what is the clear teaching of scripture of God as revealed in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. About me stating, << it being a man >> is an outright lie from you and is most disrespectful on your part. " It " happens to be the God-man, Jesus Christ. Secondly, the Apostle Paul does not state that man is a dual creature, one of matter and the other spirit. This opinion comes from fallen man, not from God. Without revelation from God, no human concept is dependable or correct. The Apostle Paul states in 1 Thess.5:23, " may the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly ; and may your SPIRIT and SOUL and BODY be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ". This verse shows clearly that man is composed of three parts, spirit ,soul and body. For any believer to fail to distinguish the differences between spirit and soul is fatal to spiritual maturity. Many, many believers suffer from this failure to understand what is " soulical " and what is " spiritual ". Only the Word of God is able to differenciate between spirit and soul according to Heb. 4:12. << He never said He came to sacrifice Himself for us. >>>. What a twisted untrue statement you state Sam. All the Old Testament and Prophets tell us of their repeated offerings of sacrificial lambs to cover the sins of their people ,Israel, and at the same time these shadows and types then used always pointed to the final sacrifice, who was God incarnate, the Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world. Have you not read Matt. 20:28, Mark 10:45,and I Tim.2:6. which states He gave His life as a ransom for us.?.
