"The Torah and the Tanach are beautiful and they do reveal God's nature, but they can never give you righteousness."

(Did I say that?)

Never has. Never will. That makes about as much sense as saying that looking in the mirror can impart beauty. Like a mirror, Torah reveals what one needs to do/refrain from doing to be pleasing and acceptable to YHWH. When a man looks at Torah and sees any beauty in it, it is not his own beauty that he sees, but the righteousness of YHWH, and he submits himself for the removal of blemishes. Likewise, when a man looks at Torah and despises what he sees in it, and casts away the mirror, it is not his own countenance that he despises, but the righteousness of YHWH which he despises.

Many have been deceived by looking into the mirror of Torah-less church doctrines. There they are assured to find an image which is flattering and conforms to their vain imaginations, without realizing the 'strong delusion' that has come upon them for, in doing so, they see themselves not through the eyes of YHWH, but through the eyes of the Son of Iniquity (Torahlessness).

Mighty Shalom
