THE "CHINA TRANS CENTURY GREEN PROJECT" is specifically targeted on areas with critical pollution problems, river basins, and some fundamental environmental problems. It is targeted on the water pollution of 3 rivers (Huaine River, Hahe River, and Liache River), 3 lakes (Taihu Lake, Dianchi Lake and Chacho Lake) and acid rain in sw, central, southern ,and eastern China, as well as air pollution in 20 key cities. The NEPA of China on November 20, 1997, opened 70 local projects to overseas investment and technical support in Beijing. The projects were selected out of 1,591 items listed by the CHINA TRANS CENTURY GREEN PROJECT concentrating mainly in the fields of urban and industrial waste water treatment, air pollution control, and the disposal of solid wastes. THE CHINA TRANS CENTURY GREEN PROJECT was created by the China NEPA in cooperation with the State Planning Commission and the State Economic and Trade Commission. Significantly, Solucorp's press release anouncing its success with the Chinese NEPA is dated 11/20/97! Larry, this has got to be it! The China Trans Century Green Project must either be the same or related to the China Green Development Center.
