If I short 2000 shares of XXX at 1.00 then my broker is going to take 2000 $ from my account and keep it until I buy the stock back. If I buy at 0.50 then she is going to give me 3000 $. Is that the way it works ? Then, I have invested 2000$ and earned 1000$. Looks like 50% to me. wiesia
