I think the real issue for investing in this technology has been timing. The initial knee-jerk reaction by the street to ADSL 2 years ago was obviously not grounded in reality (and hence our current situation in the trenches)- it seems most of us on this thread are victims of having almost too much premonition, realizing the implications of a networking revolution just a little too early (and here I'm not just referring to ADSL-consider the entire 'paradigm-shift' for the role of cable and telephone companies in data transmission). This sector will be burgeoning for the next decade. Although it seems we've been saying this all along (not only is the ADSL story getting old, but my rationalizations for investing in it are as well), I really think the time for these stocks has come-the exposure to this technology is exponentially increasing and the tension between cable and telcos is mounting (presumably)-if, and this is a big IF, BA does announce a significant deployment this summer/fall-WSTL will see $20 at least a week before :o) and it will be a nice ride from there-I'm in the process of selling some of my index fund to buy some more wstl shares (with some orctf, awre also)-does anyone have any general comments-any technical guys want to suggest a good entry point? IMHO jeremic
