CJ, as I recall BASEA got some analyst report that was convered in one of the wires, and that presumably is what drove the stock up. This seemed to have sparked a peculiarly large volume, why I don't know -- (perhaps SOES daytraders latched onto it -- they like stocks that move fast and have large spreads).

The analyst report said nothing particularly new except that the co. is nearly ready (in 6 weeks I think) to release a new version of its software product for pharmaceutical companies.
