On a much smaller scale, PGO (a 3D & 4D seismic outfit) recently bought a minor driller (forget the name) which has a number of floating platforms for deep water production.

Do you think we're at the start of a wave of consolidations between companies with complementary skills in the industry ?

If so, it might be fun to speculate on likely candidates for buyout.
