John Rienzo is Appointed Chief Technical Officer and Mark Rudholm Becomes
Director of Technology
HOUSTON, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Enhanced Services Co., (Nasdaq: ESVS), today announced the appointment of John Rienzo to Chief Technical Officer and Mark Rudholm as Director of Technology. Enhanced recently entered into a strategic investment in ZULU-Tek (OTC Bulletin Board: NETZ), and the two companies are continuing to pursue a joint business combination(A). With Mr. Rienzo heading technical operations on the East Coast, and Mr. Rudholm handling technology on the West Coast, they will help the companies develop innovative, in-house technical solutions for online marketing. Mr. Rienzo and Mr. Rudholm are the latest in a series of key personnel to join the company as a result of its active staffing effort.
One of the company's key advantages is its in-house technological capability, which provides the structure for the e-commerce and Internet advertising elements of the business. Mr. Rienzo and Mr. Rudholm will help ensure that the in-house technology leads the industry, providing clients with superior access to the most advanced online marketing technology and strategies available. Previously, Mr. Rienzo was Engineering Manager at echoMEDIA, which was acquired by Zulu to take advantage of the company's "Beyond the Banner" Internet advertising, which Mr. Rienzo played an integral role in developing. An example of the "Beyond the Banner" advertising is Sesame Ad, which is programmed to "read" the modem speed of the end-user, and deliver one of three Internet ads that corresponds best. As the only enterprise to offer three- speed advertising, Enhanced will ensure that customers are offered the most advanced technological advances in online marketing.
Mr. Rienzo brings the valuable experience he gained as the Principal Software Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation, where he was the lead engineer for a product which provides full-motion video from a special-purpose video server over a LAN. He has also served as Principal Engineer at Logica, Inc., Managing Director for HyperView Systems Corp., Senior Engineer at Aquidneck Management Associates, and Systems Consultant at SofTech, Inc. "In the volatile technology industry, anything but forward progress means you're falling to far behind," said Mr. Mincheff. "Mark will help us stay in front of the pack."
Previously, Mr. Rudholm provided web site service for major clients such as Frito-Lay, Paramount, Guess? and Mattel as Director of Production Technology, MIS Director and West Coast WAN Manager at Boxtop Interactive (now iXL-LA). Before joining Boxtop, he was Director of Technology at American Cybercast, responsible for all technical operations and future technology direction. Mr. Rudholm was also an engineer at Commotion New Media, and a technical consultant at Philips Media.
