Business Objects Names Anthony Jewitt to New Position of Vice President of Business Development
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 1998--Business Objects (NASDAQ:BOBJY), the world's leading provider of integrated enterprise decision support tools, today announced that it has named Anthony Jewitt to the newly created position of vice president of business development.
Jewitt is responsible for developing internet business opportunities for Business Objects. He reports to Dave Ellett, chief operating officer at Business Objects.
Jewitt has more than 12 years of experience in management consulting and business development. Most recently, he was director of practice development at leading management consulting firm, Price Waterhouse LLP. At Price Waterhouse, Jewitt managed $10M in new business annually for the central region of the United States.
Prior to that Jewitt served as director of business development for Oracle Corporation's education division, and as manager of product development at Electronic Data Systems (EDS). He was also a senior consultant and managing consultant at Axiom Consulting and EDS, respectively.

Jewitt holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
