Sony has already stated they are including HiFi's in their own computers, and one unnamed OEM has already been rumored to be confirmed. HiFi is scheduled to be included internally in machines before its release. Vapor! is not. Iomega has had well over a year and a half to try and find someone- ANYONE- to buy it, and put it in their machines. But no one wants to touch it. OEM's may feel threatened with possible lawsuits and/or inordinate product returns for lost data and/or broken and contaminated Vapor! drives. Such is the distinct possibility with using a removable disc drive in outdoor environments. Sand, dust, smoke, humidity, and condensation may enter the disc slot virtually at will and foul the Vapor! drive, and ruin the media. Thus, product returns are a genuine concern with any OEM's. And Iomega's legendary "Customer Service" and "Reliability" I'm sure are cause for alarm for potential OEM's.
