Thanks, Keith! Personally, I do not put much faith in technical analysis. Because, you and I, or anyone else, can predict an up or a down movement, of a stock, or a composition of stocks, and have a 50/50 chance of being correct.
According to my deck of special stochastics/probability trend indicator cards, the trend of ADVR is UP! That does not mean it will go up today, that means that the trend for May 1998, is UP. There is no guarantee that ADVR will go up!
When in doubt speak out! I'll try to answer your question to the best of my ability. Note: I am not representing myself as an expert on probability and/or predicting market trends. The truth is I failed Statistics, the first time I took it, in 1976. I was going to college on the G.I. Bill (the old one). They did get me through it, but I never could understand the total theory of probability. That is not my favorite subject..
