Laz, it is better to sell shares at $1 than at $0.40 as everyone on this thread knows. Which would you prefer to receive for your own shares? $0.40 or $1? Actually there is no information on what Ira got for the shares. If that information were known, it would be easier to conclude if this were a good thing or a bad thing? Were the shares sold for cash? part of payments for acquisitions, services and to whom for what, etc, etc.?

If there are not three times as many shares and the company is more than three times as valuable because of the actions taken, it was a good thing. Otherwise it is a negative.

The idea of a buyback is pretty ludicrous. The company doesn't have that kind of cash. Why buy back for $0.40 shares that probably were sold for $0.25 or the equivalent in assets or services? No, the way out of this predicament is to produce the earnings that the issuance of shares was intended to accomplish. If the earnings come, the number of shares will not be a problem.

At that point, a reverse split will make everyone happy. If the company can earn $0.25 they can do a two for one reverse split and get their NASDAQ listing. The only obstacle I see, is earning $0.25. Ira should concentrate on making that happen and nothing else will be an issue. If there are 100MM shares out there, the company needs to earn $25MM. Can this be done? How long will it take?
