Mark, You do not have to convince me that laser is a superior format. I've been an LV freak since that format began. I have many hundreds of laserdiscs.

When I was building software packages, CDs were more expensive than floppies, and in smaller quantities likely still are. But the main point is that there are a connsiderable number of floppies out there that people want to use or will have to use, as companies do still ship on them. So I think Apple should make it convenient for users to access all popular and necessary formats. Since USB will do that, I'm satisfied, however. I've made the point, so I will drop it now. :-)

I don't have Officefortunately.
