"I warmly congratulate the scientists and engineers who have carried out these successful tests," the prime minister said.

What an incredibly sad day for India Mohan. What a terribly sad day.
India has abandoned the moral high ground for the lowest part of the nuclear swamp. Never mind that we have dwelt inthe nuclear swamp for the last 50 years...it is sad to see.

With the possibility of "political structural disintegration" in India because of the unending, unresolvable religious differences of Muslim and Hindu be happy your family Mohan is in the far south.

Something I have been pondering. How will India feed itself after the Punjab is fried? Cn 950 million people (minus the 50 million casulties) be fed from the agricultural output of the rest of the country. Mind you 30-40% of India's food is already rotting before it gets to market. Yes. Unbelievable but true. When I was doing AG deals in India I cam across this startling fact.

I agree with you at this mometn Mohan. Write off Asia for investing. Maybe just write off India and Pakistan. Welcome the new countries of Hyderabad and Kerala and Madura. The survivors of nuclear halocaust.

EEEEECCCCHH!
