Question for all: what impact will the WDC deal with IBM re MR heads have on the price of components to SEG/QNTM?

Clearly this is bad news for RDRT and APM. They are at risk of losing a major biz partner at a time they can ill afford to do so. Will this give QNTM, SEG better leverage? Anyone have an update on the QNTM /MKE venture and how that's going in increasing yields and/or other efficientcies. Has the SEA tumult helped via currency exchange-driven cost reductions?

On a broader scale, will the current market climate present an opportunity for DD makers to recoup some margins by squeezing their suppliers (a la the RDRT/APM question above)? It seems on the face of it that the DD makeers must be beating up their platter and suspension and head suppliers based on the current market conditions under a "share the pain" policy.

Curious to hear from those closer to the supply chain whether this is happening.
