We have worked hard to build relationships with our Indonesian agent and customers, Wendy. These relationships are built on quality products, service and trust, not politics. To my knowledge, our customers are not involved in the politics of the nation and are dedicated civil servants or employees of government owned corporations. I have not discussed politics with any of them, nor do I feel that it is proper, as a guest in their country, to do so.
One of the things that impressed me about our agent, Ir. Sudarto, when I first met him was his sincere interest in bettering his people and country. I interviewed and checked backgrounds on 24 prospective agents. In one of the interviews, Sudarto said to me, quote: "I want to help build my country". I have seen that same philosophy with our customers in the Water Resources Ministry and Pt. PLN Persero (the electricity utility).
