If this is the case, he should not have put his name on the company. At some point, his blinding greed will turn to pride. Pride in "His" company that he will have made a shame of from thinking short term gains. I guess the question is, which does Michael desire more, Money today, or a company that will last forever. Most likely, right now, since he fears nothing, he thinks no matter what he does, his company will rule and dominate forever.
Jim BTW, I did a little figureing the other day, If DELL can maintain 60% Q/Q revenue growth, and the stock can trade at 10 times sales, In August of 1999, the stock should trade @ about $400. With 2 2/1 stock splits, that puts it @ $100 and you will have 4 X the number of shares you have today. Won't that be wonderful :) |
